Bombay Stock Exchange
The Stock Exchange, Bombay, is the oldest stock exchange in Asia. The stock exchange in Mumbai was established in 1875. Today, BSE is the one of the most active stock markets in India accounting for over 70 percent of the listed capital. It is the premier stock exhange in India with 90 percent of market capitalisation. With the opening up and rapid of the economy in the recent years, the number of investors in India is expected to increase at more than 20 percent per annum.
